Salah Uddin Ahmed, Dinajpur: The body of farmer Alamgir, who went missing in Dinajpur's Chirirbandar after two days, was recovered by local police on Thursday morning. He was missing since last Tuesday morning. The deceased Alamgir (35) is the younger son of Abdul Jabbar, a resident of Quader Shah Para of Dakshin Nagar village near Binnyakuri Bazar of Isabpur Union No. 4 of Chirirbandar Upazila. He is a farmer by profession. Bajlur Rashid, in-charge of Chirirbandar police station, said that he was sleeping in the same room with his wife last Tuesday night. His wife did not find him in bed in the morning. Two days later, on Thursday morning, locals found his bloated body near a chicken farm in Molla Para area of Dakshin Nagar, a quarter kilometer away from home. They believe that he was killed initially. In this regard, they advised the child's father, Abdul Jabbar, to file a case. The body has been sent to the morgue of Abdur Rahim Medical College in Dinajpur for postmortem. They are also investigating the incident.
