Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu has lost his mother

Entertainment Desk: Indira Devi, the mother of Indian Telugu film superstar Mahesh Babu, is no more. He breathed his last while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Hyderabad on Wednesday (September 28).

It is known that Indira Devi was sick for quite some time. He was admitted to a private hospital. He was put on ventilator shortly before his death.

A statement issued by Indira Devi's family announcing the death of Indira Devi said, 'Shri Ghattamaneni Indira Devi, wife of Superstar Krishna and mother of Mahesh Babu passed away this morning. His body will be kept for public at Padmalaya studio from 9 am and then his last rites will be performed at Mahaprasthan.'

This year, Mahesh Babu lost his elder brother Ramesh Babu. He died of liver complications in January at the age of 56. This superstar of Telugu cinema is even more saddened by the loss of his mother.
