Superintendent of Police interacts with Hindu religious leaders on the occasion of Durga Puja in Kurigram

Md Hasan, Kurigram: On the occasion of Autumn Durga Puja, a discussion on law and order was held with traditional religious leaders in Kurigram. On Sunday (September 25) at noon, an exchange meeting was held under the chairmanship of Superintendent of Police Al Asad Md. Mahfuzul Islam at the police lines hall organized by the district police. All those present at the meeting expressed their hope and confidence to further strengthen the recent well-planned coordination of Sadasaya Sarkar and to cooperate collectively for orderly, fair and peaceful puja celebration in Kurigram district. The leaders of various levels of the Hindu community praised the police and expressed their confidence that the puja will be celebrated smoothly with religious solemnity by extending a hand of cooperation. They said that they will continue their tireless efforts to follow the various directives of the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Religion of the current government. Superintendent of Police said, Kurigram district police is always there and will be with the aim of orderly, fair and peaceful puja celebration in Kurigram district. Strict legal action will be taken against anyone involved in nefarious activities or anyone attempting to engage in nefarious activities. No one has been spared, nor will they be, by doing evil activities. District Hindu, Buddhist, Christian Unity Council President MM Chanalal Baksi, Puja Udjakar Parishad President Ravi Bose, Vice President Uday Shankar Chakraborty, General Secretary Dulal Chandra Roy, Puja Udjakar Parishad Central Committee member Soumendra Prasad Pandey and various others were present.
