SSC Exam Questions Leaked: UNOK Shocks

Kurigram Correspondent: Upazila Nirbahi Officer Deepak Kumar Dev Sharma has been accused of negligence in the SSC exam question leak in Bhurungamari, Kurigram. He has been mourned in this incident. Apart from this, the upazila education officer has been temporarily suspended in the same incident. Currently he is ill and undergoing treatment in the hospital. Current SSC, Dakhil, SSC (Vocational) and Dakhil (Vocational) exams are being held in Bhurungamari Upazila under Dinajpur Education Board. And for hundreds of students of these departments, the board sent packets of thousands of question paper sets for the examination. The Upazila Nirbahi Officer assigns a reporting officer the responsibility of sorting and verifying the questions from these packets. Kurigram District Commissioner has mourned Bhurungamari Upazila Nirbahi Officer Deepak Kumar Dev Sharma for failing to fulfill such an important duty. The condolence letter was asked to respond to the condolence within three working days last Wednesday. In this regard, Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Rezaul Karim said, according to the rules, UNO has written a letter regarding the examination. However, the matter is being investigated whether there is any negligence. He said he has been asked to respond to the question that UNO has been maligned. The next course of action will be decided after receiving the response from Shokaj. District Education Officer Shamsul Alam said, dismissed upazila secondary education officer Abdur Rahman fell ill and was admitted to Bhurungamari Hospital on Thursday. He was shifted to Rangpur Medical College Hospital on Friday when his condition deteriorated. Various complications including high blood pressure have appeared. He also said that the investigation team of three members of Dinajpur Education Board returned today after the investigation. Apart from this, regarding the responsibility of sorting the question papers, he said, it is impossible for a person to check the packets of thousands of questions in one or two days. For this, if at least six people were given the task of sorting the questions for a few days for the 6 examination centers of Bhurungamari, they could have performed their duties accurately. No one concerned can avoid the responsibility of this question gap. Suspended upazila secondary education officer Abdur Rahman said, I have been temporarily suspended due to neglect of duty. I am currently in the hospital. Can't say more than that. Bhurungamari Upazila Nirbahi Officer Deepak Kumar called Deb Sharma several times but he did not receive.
