Idol maker Dilip Kumar Pal said, this year I have received orders for 9 idols. Now the finishing work of the two floors is going on after which the painting work will be done. Meanwhile, autumn Durga Puja will start from October 1. So as the time approaches, our work pressure has increased a lot, due to which we have to work at night after working all day. Depending on the type of idol making, the wage is 25 thousand to 55 thousand taka. However, the increase in the prices of daily necessities has also led to an increase in consumption. The artists have expressed dissatisfaction that it will not be of much benefit. President of the Gopalpur Puja Celebration Committee, Samarendra Nath Sarkar Bimal, said that the autumn Durga Puja festival will begin on October 1 Mahashasthi and will end on October 5 with Pratima Birsjan on Vijaya Dashami. According to the decision of the extended meeting at the central Dhakeswari temple on September 9, Durga Puja will be held in the pujamandaps.
