Distribution of clothes among the needy on the occasion of Puja in Bogra

Sanju Roy, Bogra: Sarees and lungis have been distributed as gifts to around half a hundred underprivileged people on the occasion of the upcoming Autumn Durga Puja in Bogra. This was organized by Sanatan 1998-2000 Facebook group at South Chelopara Sri Sri Shani and Durga Mandir in the city on Wednesday afternoon. Group admin of the organization Rajeev Majumder, members Palash Chandra Pal, Uttam Kumar Sarkar, Suhas Adhikari, Liton Kumar Das and others were present. Palash Pal, a member of the organizing group, said that Sanatan 1998-2000 is an organization based on the social media Facebook. This organization distributes clothes every year before Durga Puja in different parts of the country out of social responsibility. As a part of this, this event was also organized in Bogra.
