3 dacoits were arrested in Satkania with the help of a UP chairman

Ramzan Ali, Satkania (Chittagong): Three dacoits were arrested by the Satkania Police Station in collaboration with Keochia UP Chairman from Baitul Izzat Amtal area in Satkania. Recovered from them, sharp weapons and lock cutters and a hot Metto 11-9090 pickup used by the robbers were seized. The arrested robbers are Md Habib (19) Md Ershad (40) Narul Kabir (31). In this regard, Kenochia UP Chairman Ochman Ali said, since I was elected as the chairman, I have been patrolling the area at night along with UP members and village police. On the day and night of the incident, I went to Dastidar Hat through Temuhani and Kenochia through Naya Khal area. As the movement of a stranger in Dastidar Hat area was suspicious, we detained him and interrogated him. At first he gave contradictory information, but at one point his accomplices admitted to preparing for a robbery in the area. Then I detained him and informed Satkania police station. According to the police, on the day and night of the incident, the officer in charge of Satkania police station, Tarek Md., received information about a group of robbers preparing for a robbery in the Amtal area of ​​Baitul Izzat. Under the leadership of Abdul Hannan and Police Inspector (Investigation) Shafiqul Islam, the police raided there. At one stage, the robbers were running away after realizing the presence of the police. Meanwhile, the police chased Azimpur Adarshagram area of ​​Bhujpur. Son of Ezahar Mia. Ershad, Nurul Kabir, son of deceased Shamsul Alam of Alikadam Silti, Pawartya District, Bandarban, and Abdullah, son of Napitkhali area of ​​Eidgaon. Habib was arrested. Satkania Police Inspector (Investigation) Shafiqul Islam said that two sharp weapons and a lock cutter were recovered from the arrested persons. The pickup used by the robbers was also seized. The arrested are professional robbers. Among them, Ershad has six cases under the Arms Act and robbery in Bhujpur, Fatikchari, Sitakund and Doublemooring police stations of the city. Ramu and Chandgaon police stations have 4 cases against Nurul Kabir. A case has been filed against the arrested at Satkania police station. When the accused were produced in the court on Wednesday, the court ordered to send them to jail.
