2 more people died of dengue

News desk: The number of dengue patients is increasing all over the country including the capital. As a result of this, two people died in the last 24 hours due to dengue fever carried by Aedes mosquito. At the same time, another 164 people were admitted to different hospitals. At present, 1 thousand 336 dengue patients are admitted in hospitals across the country. This information was given in a report on dengue by the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Department of Health on Friday (September 16). It is said that 164 people have been admitted to hospitals across the country due to dengue from 8 am on Thursday (September 15) to 8 am on Friday. Among the new patients, 138 people are receiving treatment in different hospitals in Dhaka. 26 people are receiving treatment outside Dhaka. Currently, a total of 1,336 people are admitted to various public and private hospitals in the country due to dengue. Among them, 983 people are receiving treatment in 47 government and private hospitals of Dhaka. 353 people are admitted in different hospitals outside Dhaka. According to the information of the Department of Health, from January 1 to September 16, a total of 10,396 people were admitted to the hospital due to dengue. Among them, 9 thousand 18 people have recovered and left the hospital. During this time, 8 thousand 233 people were admitted to the hospital after being infected in Dhaka and 7 thousand 231 people returned home after recovery. 2 thousand 163 people were admitted outside Dhaka and 1 thousand 787 people returned home after recovery. Two people have died due to dengue in the last 24 hours. A total of 42 people have died of dengue since January 1. The first death due to dengue was reported on June 21 this year.
