The Rohingyas wish the international community to return to Myanmar!

Javed Iqbal Chowdhury, Cox's Bazar: We want to return to Myanmar with security and rights, not a third country. We request the intervention of the international community to accept our demands as citizens of Myanmar by returning nationality, fundamental rights and property. Rohingya leaders said these things to army officials from 24 countries during their visit to Ukhiya Rohingya camp on Tuesday (September 13) morning. Rohingya leader Master Shafiq said, "We have told the army officials that the government of that country needs the cooperation of all international circles to take us back to Myanmar with safety. We as the Rohingya nation have been repeatedly persecuted and oppressed. He said that the army officials have also been presented with the description. Meanwhile, the army officers of 24 countries participating in the 46th Indo-Pacific Armies Management Seminar, Bangladesh Army Chief General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed and US Army Pacific Region Chief Charles A. Rohingya participated in an exchange meeting at Durbar Hall in Camp-4 (Extended) at 11 am yesterday under the leadership of Flynn. There, the Additional Refugee Relief and Repatriation Commissioner discussed the situation in the Rohingya camp and the camp in Bhasanchar. Meanwhile, the advisor of ISCG informed the army officers about the activities of the 9 donor organizations of the United Nations. Moreover, he highlighted the overall situation of all the camps in Ukhia and Teknaf along with the response program of the Rohingyas. After the meeting, the delegation spoke to the Rohingya leaders. Meanwhile, the Rohingya leaders sought the intervention and cooperation of the international community to return to their country Myanmar. Later the delegation left the Rohingya camp. Before visiting the camp, the second session of the International Seminar on 'Possibilities and Challenges of Maintaining Peace and Security in the Indo-Pacific' was held at Hotel Royal Tulip at 8:30 am. On September 12, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina joined the Radisson Blue Water Garden in the capital and inaugurated the three-day seminar. Indo-Pacific Armies Management is one of the major Army activities, a forum for the senior military leadership of the Indo-Pacific regional land forces to exchange views and ideas on peace and stability. IPAMS aims to maintain peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region through mutual understanding, dialogue and friendship. Bangladesh is co-hosting the seminar for the third time. Earlier, Bangladesh was the co-host of this event in 1993 and 2014.
