Unveiling of journalist Majed's book of poetry in Bogra

Sanju Roy, Bogra: Now TV journalist Majed Rahman's second poetry book publication festival titled “Krishna Paksha Dheke Khaye Toke” has been held in Bogra. Bogra Additional Superintendent of Police Motahar Hossain unveiled the cover of the book in Rochas restaurant hall room at Mofiz Pagla intersection of the city organized by Joypurhat Kalyan Samity in Bogra on Monday afternoon. The special guest of the event was the executive director of TMSS. Hosne Ara Begum, famous poet Bazlur Karim Bahar, poet and essayist Shoaib Shahriar, professor of Arabic language and literature department of Kushtia Islami University. Kamrul Hasan, Indian poet and social worker Bishnath Laha and Suraj Das. Ahsanuzzaman Chowdhury Swin, president of Bogra's Joypurhat Kalyan Samiti, presided over the event. Senior journalist Zia Shaheen of Bogra, President of Joypurhat Sahitya Akash Poet Ahmed Maqbul Mukul, President of Bogra Writers' Circle Poet Islam Rafiq, Poet Abeda Sultana Queen, Kundi Editor Abdul Khalek, Nurul Islam Ranga, Poet Mansur Rahman Babu, among others spoke at the unveiling ceremony. Secretary General of Bangladesh Human Rights Foundation poet Rabiul Islam Sohail, journalist Abdur Rahim Bagra and others. The program was conducted by H. Alim, Secretary and Journalist of Sammilit Sanshikari Jot Bogra. On the occasion, Indian poet Suraj Das taught the guests Indian poetry.
