1 kg of ice, 20 thousand pieces of Yaba arrested in Teknaf

Cox's Bazar Correspondent: Police arrested a person named Jamal Hossain along with 1 kg of ice and 20 thousand pieces of Yaba in Teknaf. He is the son of deceased Nurul Islam of Amtali village, Ward No. 2, Hoikang, Upazila. On Thursday, August 18, these drugs were recovered by raiding a living room at 4:15 am. Teknaf Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Hafizur Rahman said that the policemen led by SI Zaid Hasan and ASI Matin of Waikong police station raided an abandoned house of one Abul Kalam driver and arrested a smuggler along with 1 kg of ice and 20,000 pieces of Yaba. The market value of recovered drugs is around 5 crore 60 lakhs. OC Hafizur Rahman also said that a case has been registered in this regard.
