Batch 'B' unit result release, pass 56.26 percent

Meherabul Islam Saudip, JOB: The results of integrated admission test of science 'B' unit for the academic year 2021-22 of 22 universities of the clustered countries have been released. The overall pass rate in the examination is 56.26 percent.

Cluster technical committee convener and vice-chancellor of Chandpur University of Science and Technology. Md. Nashim Akhtar and Jagannath University Vice-Chancellor and Admission Committee Joint Convener Prof. Dr. Md. Imdadul Haque confirmed the publication of the results on Tuesday afternoon and gave this information. The results have already been published on the respective websites. Students can login with id and password to check the result.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Nashim Akhtar said that the highest marks in 'B' unit is 82.25 and the lowest is minus (-) 12.25.

"Digant Biswas got the first position. His roll was 302249 and his center was Jagannath University and his college was Cantonment Public School and College, Dinajpur.

He also said that a total of 95 thousand 637 candidates applied for 'B' unit. Among them, 85 thousand 512 people participated in the examination which is 94.35 percent of the total applicants. Also 5 thousand 125 persons i.e. 5.65 percent were absent.

"48 thousand 106 people passed the entrance exam, which is 56.26 percent of the exam participants. Also, 37 thousand 351 people failed. That is, 43.68 percent of the candidates. All the failed candidates got less than 30 marks. Meanwhile, 55 candidates' accounts were canceled. 0.06 percent of the total number of candidates. Out of them 7 candidates were expelled, 12 candidates were canceled due to writing wrong roll number and 36 candidates were not evaluated due to wrong writing of set number."

According to multiple sources of the technical sub-committee of the cluster, only 1 person got 80 and above in 'B' unit admission test, 32 people got 75 and above, 186 people got above 70, 765 people got 65 and above, 60 and above 2293 people got it, 55 and above got 5723 people, 50 and above got 11425 people, 45 and above got 19214 people, 40 and above got 28562 people, 35 and above got 38265 people and 30 and above got 48106 people got .

Earlier on Saturday, the admission test of 'B' unit of cluster admission test of 22 public and science and technology universities of the country was held. 19 centers and sub-centres have taken admission test simultaneously.
