Sanju Roy, Bogra: On the occasion of the 47th martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the National Mourning Day in Bogra, the Bogra District Police organized an exceptional competition for students besides paying tribute to Bangabandhu's portrait and organizing a grief discussion meeting with the main aim of reawakening the ideals of Bangabandhu among the new generation. . And in the race to win this competition, about 2000 students got to know the glorious history of Bangabandhu and the great freedom in a new way. About 2 thousand 137 students from 34 educational institutions of Bogra participated in 17 categories in 5 subjects namely painting, writing, quiz, present speech and book reading competition on Saturday and Sunday. Organized by Bogra District Police, the competition ended with the awarding of 67 students at Police Lines Auditorium on Monday afternoon. Earlier on the same day in the morning of the Mourning Day discussion meeting at the Police Lines Auditorium, District Superintendent of Police Sudeep Kumar Chakraborty told the BPM students in the president's speech that our young generation who will lead the future of Bangladesh, to whom we will hand over the burden of this country, should first of all build on the ideals of the father of the nation. have to pick up They should tell the true history of Bangabandhu and the great freedom because Bangabandhu and freedom are built on the same foundation. SP Sudeep said, as long as there is Bangladesh, there is a map of this country, there is a red green independent flag, Bangabandhu will remain in the hearts of all of Bengal and the ideals of the father of the nation will inspire us to move the country forward as a beacon. Speaking about the organization of the competition, the District Superintendent of Police said that the father of the nation's political philosophy, political wisdom and the deep sacrifice of Bangabandhu and his family for the country, through this competition, a renaissance has been created among about 2,000 students. To participate in the competition, they have carefully read Bangabandhu's unfinished autobiography, prison diary and many books related to the father of the nation and independence, through which their knowledge has developed and their spiritual thinking has also radically changed, said the district police chief. Poet-editor and educationist Shoaib Shahriar, Vice-Principal of Government Mujibur Rahman Women's College, Professor Dr. Belal Hossain and Principal of Police Lines School and College Shahadat Alam Jhunu. Also, among the winning contestants, students Samiha Tabassum, Rubaiya Jannat Maya and Zaharul Islam expressed their feelings by expressing their thanks and gratitude for organizing this Sundan and Enlightenment competition. After the discussion meeting and before the prize distribution, it was shown through the unveiling of the documentary film 'Bangabandhu in Bogra' by the students under the management of the district police. Finally, Superintendent of Police Sudip Kumar Chakraborty handed over crests, certificates and various books related to Bangabandhu and Bangladesh to the winners. At that time, Additional Superintendent of Police Abdur Rashid (Crime and Ops), Motahar Hossain (DSB), Sharafat Islam (Sadar Circle), Helena Akhtar (Sadar and Traffic), Manager of IFIC Bank Tajmilur Rahman along with various levels of district police officers and various educations respectively.
