Husband and wife arrested with drugs in Bhurungamari

Shamim Mondal (22) and his wife Mukta Begum (19) were arrested in a raid on Saturday (August 13) night in Dakshin Shingjhar area of ​​Joymonirhat Union of Upazila. The detained Shamim is the son of Abdul Majid of Hater Kuti village of Andharijhar Union. It is reported that a team of Bhurungamari police station conducted a special anti-narcotics operation in Dakshin Shingjhar village after receiving information based on secret information around 8 pm on Saturday. Meanwhile, Shamim Mondal and his wife Mukta Begum were arrested with 05 bottles of Phencidil, 7 pieces of Yaba and 150 grams of ganja. On Sunday morning, a case under the Narcotics Control Act was sent to the Kurigram Court against those arrested.
