Entertainment Desk: Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh's discussions and controversies are not leaving behind after his nude photo shoot. In the face of the controversy surrounding the photo shoot of the naked body, the Mumbai police have summoned him.

Photos of Ranveer posing naked in various poses for a fashion magazine named 'Paper Magazine' came to light last month. After that, intense practice started. Many are also praising him calling it a brave move.

However, a Muslim woman recently filed a public interest case against the actor in Calcutta High Court in connection with such a revealing photoshoot. The woman's name is Nazia Elahi Khan. She is the chairperson of Minority Women's Organization. The allegations in the case have been cited against the hero for causing harm to character values and women's sentiments.

The plaintiff in the case has sought the intervention of the High Court so that the pictures of Ranveer's nude photo shoot do not spread in West Bengal or have a bad effect on children as well as the general public. It also cited a tweet by actress and Member of Parliament Mimi Chakraborty from Kolkata.

Nazir's lawyer said that after Ranveer's nude photo was circulated on social media, actress and MP Mimi Chakraborty tweeted, 'If a woman had done a nude photoshoot instead of Ranveer Singh, would she have received the same appreciation as the Bollywood actor?'

Mumbai Police has ordered Ranveer to appear before August 22. A notice has also been sent to that effect. In the meantime, the police had raided the hero's house. But he was not at home then.

Ranveer has informed the police that he will return home on August 16. Then again the police will go to his house in Mumbai. On July 26, the police of Mumbai's Chembur police station registered the complaint filed by the woman.
