Various information provided by scientists from China, Singapore and Australia about this new virus has been published in the New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM).

Taiwan's Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Deputy Director General Chuang Zhen-xiang said that 26 people infected with the new virus had symptoms such as fever, fatigue, cough, loss of appetite, muscle pain, nausea, and headache.

These patients also have problems like low white blood cells, low platelet count, liver problems and kidney failure.

However, scientists have said that no one has died from this virus yet. Professor Wang Linfa of the Duke-NUS Medical School told the Global Times that the virus cannot be called fatal or very dangerous so far. So there is nothing to panic about it now.
