On Tuesday evening, the police sent the body to the morgue for post-mortem after the post-mortem report. However, the police did not know the actual cause of death. The doctor's husband has been taken into custody. Rokeya Begum Daisy is the name of the female doctor who suffered an unusual death. She is the daughter of Sirajul Islam of Krishnapur village of Phulbari upazila of Dinajpur. It is known that the woman doctor's husband Arifuzzaman Arif is also a doctor himself. He came yesterday Monday to spend time with his wife Rokeya Begum Daisy, who works in a private hospital called Memorial. His wife has been working as a resident doctor in that hospital for a year. Seven months ago, both of them got married in a family style. The woman doctor lived in the hospital's residential quarter due to her employment. The husband got into a verbal argument with his wife on Monday night. Later they spend the night in separate rooms. Aktarul Islam, Deputy Inspector of Nawabganj Police Station, said that on Monday night, the husband and wife had a verbal dispute between the husband and wife. The hospital authorities informed the police that a body with a towel wrapped around the neck was hanging from the ceiling fan of a room on the second floor of the residential quarter around 1:30 p.m. He reached the hospital around 5:15 pm and found the body lying on the bed instead of hanging. Meanwhile, the girl's father, Sirajul Islam, has filed a case with the police station against three people, including the son-in-law and the daughter's uncle, for abetting suicide. Son-in-law Arifuzzaman Arif has been taken into custody for questioning. Besides, to find out the cause of death, the body was recovered in the evening and sent to M Abdur Rahim Medical College morgue in Dinajpur for post-mortem examination. The post-mortem may be conducted on Wednesday.
