A member of the fraud gang was arrested in Pabna

Tofazzal Hossain Babu, Pabna: A special raid team of Pabna RAB led by Acting Company Commander Kishore Roy on the basis of secret information through information technology last Sunday (August 06). The police officer identified as Sohail Rana (36) has arrested a member of the fraud gang. The arrested fraudster is the son of Md. Abdur Razzak of Kuthipara village of Charghat upazila of Rajshahi district. During the arrest, 6 mobile phones, 10 SIM cards and cash 1300 taka were recovered from the accused. According to RAB, the accused Sohail Rana was deceiving the police and common people by setting the name and picture of police and DIG/SP of RAB in Google account on various mobile phones and multiple SIM cards by impersonating police officers through Icon apps. An affidavit has been filed against the accused in a cheating case at Chatmohar police station in Pabna.
