Shop vandalism and looting complaint against APS of MP in Pabna

Tofazzal Hossain, Pabna: Personal Assistant (APS) of Pabna-4 Constituency (Ishwardi-Atgharia) Member of Parliament Nuruzzaman Biswas Rajan Malitha has been accused of vandalizing a shop and looting goods. In this incident, the victim Shireen Akhter filed a written complaint at Ishwardi police station on Friday night. Rajan Malitha is the brother-in-law of MP Nuruzzaman Biswas. He is a resident of Skulpara area of ​​the city. It has been claimed in the written complaint that Shireen Akhter has been running a business through a shop named Karupalli Pitha Ghar in the Battala area of ​​Fakir on Station Road of the city. He has been doing this business for 26 years by leasing railway land. Shirin Akhter alleged that 10/15 youths broke the lock and looted the fridge, oven, gas stove, gas cylinder, chairs, showcase, crockery of fast food in her shop on the orders of Rajan Malitha due to previous enmity while the shop was closed on Friday. Rajan Malitha denied looting goods in this regard and said, "Shirin Akhtar has been occupying that railway site in front of her mother-in-law Ferdousi Khatun's land for a long time. The place has been cleared.” Moreover, Rajan claims that the railway site belongs to his mother-in-law. Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Ishwardi Police Station Arvind Sarkar said in this regard, "Initiatives have been taken to resolve this incident caused by family conflict through reconciliation between the two families." Regarding Shireen Akhtar's written complaint, the OC said, "The complaint has not been registered yet."
