In Ulipur, the pharmacy shopkeeper was cut open and injured!

Kurigram Correspondent: Alamgir Hossain (26), a pharmacy shopkeeper, was hacked and injured publicly in Ulipur of Kurigram. Critically injured Alamgir Hossain is the son of Yusuf Ali of Baldi Para village of the municipality. He is currently undergoing treatment at Kurigram Hospital. It is known that on Saturday (August 6) at 5:40 pm Alamgir Hossain, a shopkeeper of Health Care Medicine Corner of Thana Mor in Ulipur Municipality, went to the nearby pharmacy to take medicine. At that time, the miscreants ran away with serious injuries after being hit by a bullet from behind. Later, the locals rescued Alamgir and took him to the hospital. The doctor on duty referred him to Kurigram. Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Subhash Chandra Sarkar said that Alamgir was referred to Kurigram Hospital for advanced treatment after first aid. Officer-in-charge (OC) of Ulipur police station Imtiaz Kabir said that efforts are on to identify and arrest the culprit after seeing the CCTV footage.
