News Desk: Three people have died of coronavirus in the country in the last 24 hours. With this, the total death stood at 29 thousand 298 people. During this period, 375 people have been diagnosed with corona. With this, the total number of identified patients stands at 20 lakh 6 thousand 368.

This information has been informed in the regular press release about Corona sent by the Department of Health on Wednesday (August 3).

According to the notification, 974 people have recovered from Corona in 24 hours. So far 19 lakh 45 thousand 88 people have recovered.

5 thousand 785 samples were collected in 24 hours. 5 thousand 742 samples were tested. The detection rate against the test is 6.53 percent. The total detection rate since the beginning of the epidemic is 13.72 percent.

On March 8, 2020, the first 3 people in the country were diagnosed with coronavirus. 10 days later, on March 18 of that year, the first person died of this virus in the country. On August 5 and 10, 2021, a maximum of 264 people died.
