News Desk: Apart from watching videos, the Chinese social media Tik Tok is giving customers a gaming experience. Six new games have been experimentally added to the app.
This initiative is seen as a pilot project for TikTok's future plans for gaming. According to tech magazine TechCrunch, the games added to TikTok include Voodoo, Nitro Games, FRVR, Aim Lab and Lotem. Besides, the company is working with developers to add some more games.
In addition to playing games, TikTok also has the option to share its videos. Besides, users can write the location or video description with hashtags in the caption of that video.
“We are always trying to enrich our platform,” a TikTok spokesperson told TechCrunch in a statement. We regularly test new options and features. Currently we are trying to bring in third party game developers and studios.”
The gaming feature is designed to increase communication between TikTok users and attract new users.
