News Desk: Director General of Health Department Professor Dr. said that the vaccination program of children aged 5 to 12 years will start from Dhaka to prevent Corona. Abul Basar Khurshid Alam. He said this to the journalists after the inauguration of the program for the month of mourning at Kurmitola General Hospital on Monday (August 1). Khurshid Alam said, "Health Minister Zahid Malek will give details about vaccination of children. A date will be decided after he returns to the country. All I can say is that it is not possible to vaccinate all the children in the country with the amount of vaccinations we have at the moment. So we will initially start vaccination in a center in Dhaka city. After that, we will observe for a few days, then when we get the vaccine, we will proceed with the vaccination program of children." Director General of Health also said, “We have asked for registration for vaccination. If the schools register and tell us the amount of vaccination, we will go to the school and give the vaccination. This is a special vaccine, it is not always available when requested. Inoculation, storage and syringes are all different. So we cannot let a single vaccine go to waste. We will try to maximize the use of this vaccine.” Kurmitola General Hospital has taken up free blood group diagnosis, blood sugar measurement, blood pressure measurement, voluntary blood donation, various communicable and non-communicable disease prevention awareness programs, heart disease, liver disease, stroke, uterine cancer etc disease screening program from August 1 to 15. . Apart from this, plans for departmental health awareness and health related programs have been adopted in various departments and units. Brigadier General Fazlul Kabir, director of Kurmitola General Hospital, along with officials, doctors and nurses were present at the inauguration ceremony.
