BNP-Information Minister is afraid of elections

Mamunar Rashid, Nilphamari: Minister of Information and Broadcasting Dr. Hasan Mahmud MP said, BNP is afraid of national elections, because in 2018, BNP united all parties and participated in the elections but they got only five seats in that election. That is why BNP is afraid to come to the elections. He said these things to the journalists as the chief guest at the tri-annual conference of Jaldhaka Upazila Awami League of Nilphamari on Saturday (July 30). He said, we want the elections to be held in a festive atmosphere with the participation of all parties. I hope that BNP will participate in the next parliamentary elections. The minister said, BNP is indulging in lies. BNP marched in the darkness of the night by burning hurricanes. We are wondering if they have changed the icon or not. He said BNP is trying to mislead the government by telling lies. People will not accept it. Awami League is now much stronger than before. In the conference presided over by acting president of Jaldhaka Upazila Awami League Professor Golam Mostafa, organizing secretary of Bangladesh Awami League and leader in charge of Rangpur division Sakhawat Hossain Shafiq, deputy publicity and publication secretary Aminul Islam Amin, central Awami League members Hosne Ara Lutfa Dalia and Safura Begum Rumi, District Awami League President Dewan Kamal Ahmed, General Secretary Adv. Mumtazul Haque was present.
