BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has alleged that the government is showing low population of the country to show high per capita income. He made this complaint in a press conference at BNP Chairperson's office in Gulshan of the capital on Thursday (July 28). Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said that the population has been shown less to show more per capita income. Any person will understand that we have about 180 million people. If there are 160 million people, it will be beneficial to show more per capita income. Pointing to the government minister's statement regarding the census calculation, Fakhrul said, this time they have admitted that the census calculation was not correct, house to house did not go. Went to a house and asked the doorman how many people eat in this house. He (doorman) does not understand so much. He said that two people eat during the day and four at night. These things... it cannot be a census. He said, by doing these things, people are misled and cheated. The whole government stands on fraud. It is a totally fake government. The government released the data of the 2022 census on Wednesday and said that the total population of the country is currently 16 crore 51 lakh 58 thousand 616 people.
