Inflation has exceeded 7.5 percent

News desk: The overall price inflation in the country has increased to 7.56 percent. Inflation stood at the end of last June. Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS) released this information on Tuesday (July 19) inflation update. According to BBS, the cost of living has increased due to the increase in the prices of goods in the market for the past few months. That is why inflation has become a headache for the common man for months now. According to BBS, food inflation in the country has increased to 8.37 percent at the end of last June. And non-food inflation was 6.33 percent. In other words, people are under the most pressure when buying food. Again, the pressure of inflation between urban and rural people is more in rural areas. Because, inflationary pressure is higher in rural areas than in urban areas. Apart from this, inflation in rural areas rose to 8.09 percent at the end of June. And at the same time inflation in urban areas was 6.62 percent. Inflation in rural areas rose to 8.09 percent at the end of last June. And at the same time inflation in urban areas was 6.62 percent. According to BBS data, food inflation in rural areas has reached around 9 percent. At the end of June, food inflation in villages stood at 8.93 percent. In urban areas, this rate is above 7 percent.
