BPL schedule for next 3 years is final

Sports Desk: The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has finalized the schedule for the next 3 years of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), the country's biggest franchise-based tournament. On Sunday (July 17) in the BCB office in Mirpur, the board of directors meeting decided the start and end dates of the BPL. BCB President Nazmul Hasan Papon confirmed this information to the media after the meeting. He said, "It has been decided when the BPL will be held in the next three years. Because I will give the team to the franchisees for 3 years.” According to the schedule, the next season of BPL will start on January 5, 2023 and will end on February 16. BPL 2024 will start on January 6 and end on February 17 and BPL 2025 will start on January 1 and end on February 11. Although 6 teams participate in each season in BPL, 7 franchises will participate in each season for the next three years. BCB will advertise for the franchise after finalizing the date. Papon said, "Now that the date has been decided, the rest will be decided within a week. Not everything will be the same. Some changes may come. We will advertise everything clearly. The terms and conditions will be decided in a few days. Regarding who is getting the parties, he said, "Even if the old parties do not come, most of the old parties will come."
