Shahidul Islam banned for 10 months

Sports desk: ICC has banned national cricket team player Shahidul Islam for 10 months. He was sentenced after pleading guilty to a doping scandal. He should stay away from all types of cricket during this period. A press release on Thursday (July 14) announced the punishment for violating Article 2.1 of the ICC Anti-Doping Code. The 10-month suspension will take effect on May 28, the day he pleaded guilty. Which means that this pacer of Bangladesh will be eligible to play on March 26, 2023. Shahidul took clomiphene to increase testosterone in the body. which has been banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) during and outside the tournament. Shahidul was positive in ICC's normal urine sample test. The 27-year-old pacer represented Bangladesh in a T20I.
