Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has inaugurated the country's first university campus-based business incubator 'Sheikh Kamal IT Business Incubator' with the aim of developing IT entrepreneurs and expanding knowledge-based economy. He inaugurated the incubator at Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) on Wednesday (July 7) morning by joining a video conference from Ganobhaban. With this, ‘Sheikh Kamal IT Business Incubator’ started its official journey. He also inaugurated two separate dormitories named after Sheikh Jamal and Rosie Jamal. Sajib Wazed Joy, Information and Communication Technology Adviser to the Prime Minister, joined the inaugural function online. State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Junaid Ahmed Palak delivered the welcome address. The event was held simultaneously on online platforms from Ganobhaban, Ministry of ICT and CUET three ends.
