News Desk: The Indian High Commission in Dhaka has said that the news that Bangladeshi nationals with multiple entry visas are not being allowed to enter through Petrapole port is baseless.
The Indian High Commission in Dhaka said in a message on Sunday (July 3rd).
The message said that some reports on social media were falsely claiming that Bangladeshi nationals with multiple entry visas were not being allowed to enter India through Petrapole. It is learned that if there is a gap of three months between the previous visit to India and the current one, it is being returned from the port.
The Indian High Commission has made it clear that this is completely unfounded. No change has been made in the road, rail or air entry rules for Bangladeshi nationals with multiple entry visas.
