News Desk: On the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, advance train tickets are being sold at various railway stations including Kamalapur. Tickets are on sale today, Sunday (July 3). In the morning, more than a thousand people lined up for tickets. For a few minutes, one by one people are coming out of the front of the ticket counter. They complained that they could not buy tickets from the website even in the last two days. After a long wait, I have been taking tickets from the counter for quite some time. Meanwhile, Sahaj-Synesis-Vinsen JV, an affiliate of Bangladesh Railway Ticket Sales, said 4,611 tickets were sold from the counters of six stations in Dhaka from 8am to 9am. On the other hand, 10,589 tickets have been sold online. From the number of ticket sales, it is clear that there is a bit of a slowdown at the counter. Besides, most of the people who are in the front line in the line of ticket seekers have been staying since yesterday. And for those who came this morning, their position is backwards. Most people at the back think they won't get tickets. One of the ticket seekers said that even after trying online since Saturday morning, he did not get any ticket. Later today I came to Kamalapur railway station around 5 am. Tried online even after coming here, but failed. If the online ticketing system could have been better, people would not have suffered so much. People have been suffering for a long time due to not getting tickets online. Regarding the complaint, Kamalapur railway station manager Masud Sarwar said that after seeing the national identity card, one has to get the number and then issue the ticket. This takes time. Sahaj's public relations officer Farhat Ahmed said, "If everyone hits together since morning, it will be a little slow to get tickets."
