The water level of both the rivers may rise in the next 24 hours. The water levels in all the major rivers in the northeast of the country are declining, which may continue for the next 24 hours. On the other hand, the flood situation in Kurigram, Sylhet, Sunamganj, Netrokona, Kishoreganj and Brahmanbaria districts of the country may improve in the next 24 hours. Of the 109 stations monitored, water levels rose in 61, decreased in 4 and remained unchanged in 41.
