Russia's military has launched a missile strike on a nine-storey apartment building in the southern Ukrainian port city of Odessa on the Black Sea coast. At least 10 people were killed. Several others, including children, were injured in the incident. The attack took place in the early hours of Friday (July 1). A local official was quoted by Reuters as saying in a report on Friday. "The death toll from a missile attack on a multi-storey apartment building has risen to 10," Sergei Bratchuk, a spokesman for the Odessa regional administration, told his telegram. Bratchuk told Ukrainian state television that seven people, including three children, had been injured in the Russian attack. He said part of the building collapsed after the attack and some people were crushed under the rubble. Rescue operation is underway in this incident. Meanwhile, another missile hit a resort in the same area, Bratchuk said. Several people were also injured there.
