Police have rescued the youth from the Teesta river

Mostafizur Rahman, Lalmonirhat: Police have recovered the body of an unidentified youth floating in the Teesta River from Kalmati Pakar Mata area of ​​Lalmonirhat. Locals spotted the body floating in the river in the area of ​​Khuniagach Union of Lalmonirhat Sadar Upazila on Sunday noon and informed the Lalmonirhat Sadar Police Station. Later Police reached the spot at 5.30 pm and recovered the body and brought it to Lalmonirhat Sadar Police Station. Lalmonir Hat Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge Shah Alam said all efforts were being made to ascertain the identity of the body. The body will be sent to the morgue for autopsy and further action will be taken after receiving the report.
