At the same time, 232 people were newly identified. Of these, 216 people have been identified in the capital Dhaka. The total number of identified patients in the country is 19 lakh 54 thousand 638. This information has been given in the regular press release of the Department of Health on Wednesday (June 15). According to the notification, 6 people have recovered from Corona in the last 24 hours. So far 19 lakh 5 thousand 504 people have recovered. A total of 5,098 samples were tested in one day (from 8 am on Tuesday to 8 am on Wednesday) across the country. Considering the sample test, the detection rate is 3.6 percent. Since the beginning of the epidemic, the total detection rate has been 13.6 percent. On Tuesday (June 14), 182 people were newly identified. Of these, 149 have been identified in the capital Dhaka. The total number of identified patients in the country is 19 lakh 54 thousand 405. 69 people have recovered, so far 19 lakh 5 thousand 417 people have recovered. On March 6, 2020, the first three people in the country were diagnosed with coronavirus. Ten days later, on March 17 of that year, the first person in the country died of the virus. On August 5 and 10 last year, a maximum of 264 people died in two days.
