Thakurgaon correspondent: BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said they had proposed to legalize the smuggled money. This is what they are doing. They themselves are smuggling money abroad. He is making laws to legalize that money. This country is no longer a civilized, democratic country. It has become a barbaric, barbaric state. Which has completely turned into a failed state. He made the remarks while exchanging views with reporters at his residence in Kalibari on Wednesday. He said that the words of the information minister are no longer law. The law clearly states that no Member of Parliament can be present in the area on election day. Law, constitution, ethics have nothing to do with what the minister has done here. They have been doing that in all the elections. Influence, control of elections. Due to the government, the MP of the ruling party is staying in Comilla today. He did not leave even after giving a letter to the Election Commission. In this, the entire Election Commission has expressed their helplessness. So this has been proven from the facts; Not only the Comilla City Corporation but also the electoral system of the whole of Bangladesh has been taken over by this government and they have destroyed the institution of the Election Commission. We claim that we are saying the same thing over and over again; We are not just saying to all the opposition parties that if there is no neutral government during the election period, then it is not possible to have a fair election with whoever the election commissioner is. "It's not just about us," he said. They had a meeting with the former election commissioner and other people a few days ago. Everyone there has said that free and fair elections are not possible in the electoral culture of Bangladesh under the party government. So a neutral government is very much needed here during the election period. BNP will not go to any election under the present government. Whatever the outcome, we will not go. Not only us but the people of Bangladesh do not have that faith. They have taken the electoral system to a place where people cannot vote. Can't even go to the polls. If you can't go to the polls, what will you do? Even if they can vote, it will win them over. We are protesting. I am moving. We will move on to bigger movements when the time comes. We are uniting all the political parties. Everyone agrees with us that fair elections are never possible under this government. District BNP president Bir Muktijoddha Taimur Rahman, general secretary Mirza Faisal Amin, organizing secretary Md Jafrullah, office secretary Mamun Ar Rashid, district Juba Dal president Chowdhury Mahebullah Abu Nur, general secretary Mahabub Hossain Tuhin, former Sadar upazila BNP were present among others. General Secretary Abdul Hamid and leaders of various BNP organizations.
