The other five arrested are Ashraful Alam alias Aftabul son of Sohrab Ali of Batrish Hazari area of ​​Kaliganj upazila, Jahangir Alam Munshi son of Shamsul Haque of the same area, Omar Farooq son of Sameer Ali, Rasul Mia son of Sarafat Ali of Madanpur Chalbalar and Manik Ali son of Bund Kura area. Superintendent of Police Abida Sultana said in her written statement that Anwarul Islam alias Ayub, a development agent of Chaparhat Bazar of the upazila, hacked Ram to death in Batrish Hazari area of ​​Chandrapur UP on April 21 at around 1 pm on his way home on a motorcycle. Ayub's elder brother filed a murder case with Kaliganj police station. Inspector General of Police (Investigation) Gulfamul Islam Mandal, after taking charge of the investigation, started a secret investigation and recovered a bloody Ram Da and a pair of sandals left by the accused used in the murder from the spot. Under his direction, the investigating officer of the case, Gulfamul Islam, with the help of the accompanying officer force, was able to arrest the main accused in the case, Ashraful Alam alias Aftabul, by conducting investigation and operation within 20 days of filing the case. Aftabul's confession later said the mastermind of the murder. Shant Mia on Monday with the help of modern technology in the Salna market of Joydebpur police station in Gazipur. Shant Mia was arrested. He was handed over to the court on Tuesday afternoon.
