Students of Kabi Nazrul College protest against insulting the Holy Prophet

News Desk: Students of Poet Nazrul Government College in the capital have staged a protest against the harsh remarks of the leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) against the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and his family. Nupur Sharma and Naveen Kumar Jindal have also been asked to cancel their life tour of Bangladesh. Students started the protest procession from the central Shaheed Minar of the college on Saturday (June 11) at 11 am. The procession went around the entire campus and passed through Lakshnibazar, Victoria Park, Raisaheb Bazar, Tantibazar and ended in front of the main gate of the college. About a thousand students of the college participated in it. At the same time, the students summoned the Indian ambassador to India to protest against the abusive remarks made against the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and Hazrat Ayesha (PBUH) in India. The students said that the two BJP leaders were shedding blood in the hearts of nearly two billion Muslims around the world by making derogatory remarks about the Holy Prophet (PBUH). As a result of their actions, communal harmony in the world is being destroyed. Therefore, it is the demand of the whole Muslim world that they should be arrested and punished immediately. In a written statement, Mehdi Hasan Palash, a student of the Department of Islamic History and Culture, said that Nupur Sharma and Naveen Kumar Jindal, leaders of the ruling BJP government in India, had hurled insults at the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The Muslim community all over the world is protesting against their actions. We demand exemplary punishment for these two culprits of India for disturbing religious peace. He further said that in protest of such statements, Bangladesh has summoned the Indian Ambassador and strongly condemned and protested and strongly condemned the state. It was also demanded that Nupur Sharma and Naveen Kumar Jindal's life tour of Bangladesh be canceled. Ashraf, a student of the management department of the college, Zakaria, a student of the Islam education department and many others spoke on the occasion. Earlier on Friday, students of Jagannath University staged a protest rally against the insulting remarks of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader about the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He also demanded immediate state condemnation of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and Hazrat Ayesha (PBUH) for their insulting remarks. Nupur Sharma recently took part in an Indian television debate and made derogatory remarks about the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his wife Ayesha (PBUH). Later, Naveen Kumar Jindal posted on Twitter about the same. This has caused anger among the Muslim community. Many Muslim countries around the world have already protested the incident.
