Human chain demanding exemplary trial of Abdul Bari's killers in Faridpur

Ehsan Rana, Faridpur: A human chain has been held in Faridpur demanding arrest and exemplary trial of the killers of Abdul Bari, producer of private satellite TV channel DBC News. Manabbandhan was held in front of Faridpur Press Club on Friday at 11 am under the banner and initiative of Faridpur correspondent of DBC News. Faridpur Press Club President Kabirul Islam Siddiqui presided over the function while Faridpur Press Club members Panna Bala, District Representative of Prothom Alo and Faridpur Press Club President Kabirul Islam Siddiqui gave brief speeches. The human chain strongly condemned the torture of journalists. At the same time, immediate arrest and exemplary punishment were demanded from the persons involved in the incident. Speakers at the human chain said that after being well for a long time, torture of journalists has started again in the country. These are not good signs at all. Journalists of various print and electronic media were present in Faridpur.
