New law to make the same charger for all mobile phones

News Desk: Due to the different charging ports of different brands of mobile phones, users often have to go to great lengths to find a charger.

Just as an Android mobile cannot be charged with an iPhone charger, each company's Android or cellular phones also have a different type of charger with a pin. As a result, the business of selling mobile as well as chargers has become booming.

This problem has been going on for a long time. However, this time the European countries have taken the initiative to stop this harassment.

The European Union (EU) has ordered the creation of a uniform charging port and cable for portable electronic devices by 2024. In this case, the company is going to formulate a policy for the use of USB Type-C charger in all devices.

According to the BBC, the law will only apply to Northern Ireland in the post-Brexit period as the UK is now out of the EU. The UK government will only set its own policy.

Along with the Android mobile company, Apple's iPhone and iPad will also have to abide by the new rules. Type-C chargers will also have to be added to laptops and computers in the future. However, the existing devices in the market will be discounted in this case.

The proposal will be tabled in the European Parliament after the summer recess. The new law will be issued if it is officially approved.
