Thakurgaon Correspondent: The play 'Cursed August' produced by Bangladesh Police Theater was staged in Thakurgaon. It was staged at the District Shilpakala Academy auditorium on Tuesday evening. Dhaka Range DIG Habibur Rahman BPM (Bar) PPM (Bar) compiled the play plan, research and information. Written and directed by Narayanganj District Police Inspector Md. Zahidur Rahman. In the play, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the father of the best Bengali nation of all time, was assassinated in his own family on the morning of 15th August, 1975 in the most heinous barbarism in the history of the world. The plot of the murder has been highlighted in the play. Especially with the villain of history Khandaker Mushtaq, Major Farooq, a member of the assassin's circle, Major Rashid and the master planners behind the scenes, weaving the seeds of conspiracy, plotting to assassinate Bangabandhu and seize power, and in that conspiracy, Till now, there was no way to understand the busy schedule of Bangabandhu Bhaban No. 32. After a while, this house will become a source of inspiration for the Bengali nation.
