Muazzin arrested for molesting a teenager in Chittagong

Confirming the matter on Friday (June 3), Chittagong Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Nobel Chakma said the victim's family lives in the East Madarbari area of ​​Sadarghat police station. Victim is a 10th class student of a school in Chittagong. She has been ill for three months. For this he was treated by different doctors at different times. But did not recover. At one stage, the victim's father was informed by the brother of the owner of the house that the muezzin of the local Haji Nasu Malum Mosque, Ashiqul, treated him with Jhar-Fuk. Later, the victim's father, Muazzin Ashikul, decided to treat his daughter with a scrub. Ashiqul came to the victim's house on Thursday evening and saw the victim and told his parents that he had been raped by Zveen. He said the muezzin had said at one point that the girl would die in three days if she was not treated quickly with a scrub. At that time, Ashiqul demanded 21,000 rupees for medical expenses. Victim's father paid 10,000 rupees in cash to treat his daughter out of fear. Then the muezzin started treating the girl with a scrub. At one point, Ashiqul said, the victim had to close the door and window and leave the room alone for treatment. The girl's parents agreed and left the room. At this opportunity. Ashiqul Islam sexually assaulted the girl with his hands on her sensitive area. After about five minutes, the girl left the room and informed the family. Police later went to the spot and arrested Ashiqul. A case has been filed at Sadarghat police station in this regard.
