Formation of convening committee of Chatmohar Press Club

Pabna Correspondent: With the expiration of the term of the present executive committee of Chatmohar Press Club of Pabna and in order to form a new committee, the present committee has been dissolved and a 5 member convening committee has been formed. The committee was unanimously dissolved at a general meeting held in the hall room of Chatmohar Press Club on Friday (June 3) under the chairmanship of Press Club President Rakibur Rahman Tukun and General Secretary Sanjit Saha Kingshook. Speaking at the meeting, Abdul Mannan Palash, Raziur Rahman Rumi, Helalur Rahman Jewel, Shahin Rahman, Shamim Hasan Milon, Iqbal Kabir Ranju, Abdul Latif Ranju, Bakul Rahman, Nurul Islam, Isharat Ali, Jahangir Alam Madhu, Saiful Islam, Biplob Acharya, Jahangir Alam, MA Jinnah, Sharif Rahman, Habibur Rahman Shimul Biswas, Zakir Selim, Iktekhar Tutul and others. The meeting was unanimously convened by Rakibur Rahman Tukun (Editor, Daily Chalanbil) and a five-member convening committee was formed. Other members of the committee are Abdul Mannan Palash (Daily Karatoya), Helalur Rahman Jewel (Editor Daily Amader Baral / Daily Ittefaq), Raziur Rahman Rumi (Ekushey Television) and Iqbal Kabir Ranju (Daily Khola Kagaz). It was decided that the convening committee would complete the election within the next 90 days. The meeting also discussed and decided on several issues including the renovation of the building of the Press Club and the amendment of the constitution.
