The US embassy in Dhaka will give visa appointments to the students

News Desk: The US Embassy in Dhaka will make visa appointments for Bangladeshi students enrolled in Fall Semester (2022) in US colleges and universities. The appointment will start on Wednesday (May 25).

This information was given in a notification posted on the verified Facebook page of the embassy on Tuesday (May 24).

It said the US embassy would start issuing visa appointments from Wednesday. Appointments will be given every day during office hours from 8 am to 4 pm.

Those who want to get an appointment for a visa must fill out a DS-160 application, submit a service fee, and pay a visa fee at any one of the 59 branches of Eastern Bank. You will also need to create a profile on the website to apply for a visa.

Fall semester classes in the United States usually begin in August. Students can enter the United States within one month of the start of the class. And those who get full funded admission, in most cases they have to go at least 10 days before the start of the class.

Earlier, students who got admission in different semesters in different universities in the United States were not getting visa appointments.
