President of Bera A-League Ranjan-Secretary Abu Saeed

Tofazzal Hossain, Pabna: The committee of Bera Upazila Awami League of Pabna has been announced through the conference. Bera Municipality Mayor SM Asif Shams Ranjan and Lecturer Abu Saeed have been elected unopposed as president and general secretary respectively. On Sunday (May 29) at 3 pm, the committee announced the Awami League's central health and population affairs secretary at the tri-annual conference. Rokeya Sultana. At the end of the first session around 2.30 pm, the names for the post of President and General Secretary were submitted. Although some time was given for submission of names, no one except the elected president and general secretary submitted their names. As a result, the invited guests announced their names without contest in the second session. Earlier, the conference started at around 11 pm amidst various obstacles. Acting President of Upazila Awami League Mozammel Haque presided over the function and acting Joint General Secretary Moksedul Alam conducted the function. Awami League Central Organizing Secretary SM Kamal, Dr. Rokeya Sultana, Syed Abdul Awal Shamim and Shamsul Haque Tuku among others. Also present at the time were central leader Mazharul Islam Manik, district Juba League leader Adv. Belayet Ali Billu, Shibli Sadiq, joint convener of District Juba League, Rezaul Haque Babu, Chairman of Bera Upazila and thousands of other grassroots leaders and activists of the party gathered at the premises of BB High School ground. After 6 long years, this conference was held in a happy atmosphere.
