3 illegal diagnostic centers in Teknaf sealed and fined

Jabed Iqbal, Cox's Bazar: The administration has closed 3 illegal delivery centers in Hnila area of ​​Teknaf. One of them was fined Rs 50,000 and the other two were congratulated. A joint operation was conducted at the Diagnostic Center and Delivery Center at Hnila Bazar premises of the upazila on Saturday 28 May at 2pm. Teknaf Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr Titu Chandra Sheel confirmed the news and said that Teknaf Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Mohammad Kayshar Khasru led the operation in 3 diagnostic centers and 3 illegal delivery centers in Hnila area. During the operation, three illegal delivery centers were sealed, including Rumida Medico owned by Nur Jahan, Babuti Das in her own name and Hnila Chamber owned by Smritikana Das. In addition, Hnila Lab Aid Diagnostic Center was temporarily sealed with a fine of Tk 50,000 due to lack of paperwork and manpower. They also thanked the other lab aids and Life Care for updating all the paperwork and other satisfactory activities. Upazila Project Implementation Officer (PIO) Subir Kumar Dutt, UNO Chief Assistant Kajal Kanti Das and Teknaf Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Titu Chandra Sheel, Medical Officer Dr. Pranoy Rudra, Medical Officer of Hnila Sub-Health Center Dr. Shankar Chandra Debnath, Deputy Assistant Medical Officer Azad Md. Nurul Hossain and Delwar Hossain along with two teams and Teknaf Model Police Station SI Sajib along with police personnel took part in the operation.
