3 illegal clinics in Tangail sealed and fined

Rashed Khan, Tangail: A mobile court operation has been launched in Tangail to implement the directive of the Department of Health to close all illegal hospitals, clinics and diagnostic centers across the country. Following this, Tangail Sadar Upazila Administration and Sadar Upazila Health Department conducted raids in various private hospitals, clinics and diagnostic centers of Tangail Sadar Upazila on Saturday (May 26) morning. The Padma Digital Clinic, Amanat Specialized Hospital and Swadesh Specialized Hospital were sealed off with immediate closure as they could not show proper documents during the operation. In addition, Comfort Hospital was fined Rs 30,000, The City Clinic Rs 20,000 and DG Lab Rs 30,000 due to unhealthy environment.
