Chapainawabganj Correspondent: RAB has arrested two drug dealers in Chapainawabganj along with 2 kg of cannabis. They were arrested on Saturday (May 27) at around 12:15 pm from Khoyarmor area of ​​Rahanpur municipality in Gomstapur upazila. This information was confirmed in the press release sent by RAB-5, CPC-1 Chapainawabganj camp.

The arrested drug dealers are, son of Ainal Haque of Umarpur village of Shibganj upazila. Shahrul Islam (30) and Ataur Rahman's son from the same area. Masud Rana (35). RAB said in a press release, the company captain Lt. Commander Ruh-fi-Tahmin Taukir and Company Deputy Commander Additional Superintendent of Police. An anti-drug operation led by Jahidul Islam led to their arrest along with cannabis. A team from RAB-5, CPC-1 Chapainawabganj camp arrested them with drugs in an empty space next to Hakim Machineries shop in Khoyarmore. According to the RAB, two mobile phones, three SIM cards and a drug bag were seized along with two kilograms of cannabis in the anti-drug operation.

During the initial interrogation of the RAB, they admitted that they had been collecting and selling cannabis illegally in a fancy way for a long time. According to RAB, a case is being filed with Gomstapur police station in Chapainawabganj district. The RAB has also intensified operations against regular militants, terrorists, organized criminals, armed criminals, drug, adulterated goods, snatchers and heroin, the press release said.
