News Desk: Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Advocate Anisul Haque has inspected the government shelter project under construction in Akhaura Upazila of Brahmanbaria. At this time he climbed the ladder and checked the quality of the project house.

The minister visited the Rajapur and Chanpur shelter projects in the northern union of the upazila around 11:30 am on Friday (May 26). At that time, the law minister said, action has already been taken against those involved in the irregularities of the asylum project. If there is any corruption in this shelter project in Bangladesh, action will be taken against them. He added that the BNP is accustomed to lying. They do not want the country to be better. The Awami League government under the leadership of People's Leader Sheikh Hasina has been able to build the dream Padma Bridge and it has been funded by the people of Bangladesh, they are not tolerating it. So propaganda is running. I will request the people not to listen to their propaganda.

During a visit on April 26, Deputy Commissioner Shahgir Alam found irregularities in the construction of 6 out of 142 houses under construction at seven places in Akhaura Upazila. At the time, he rebuked UNO, Aceland and the project implementation officer. In this regard, UNO Rumana Akhter of Akhaura was transferred to Baghaichhari Upazila of Rangamati and Assistant Commissioner (Land) Saiful Islam was transferred to Thanchi Upazila of Bandarban in a circular issued on 22 May at the Chittagong Divisional Commissioner's Office.
