Sanju Roy, Bogra: In a separate operation conducted by the District Detective Branch (DB) in Bogra, four persons were arrested along with one thousand pieces of yaba, one kg of cannabis and 15 thousand counterfeit taka notes. The arrested persons were sent to jail through the court on Thursday afternoon. Earlier, two persons were arrested along with one thousand pieces of yaba from Jahurulnagar area of ​​Bogra city around 2.45 pm on Wednesday. They are Habibur Rahman Habib, 23, of Gangjoa village in Pirganj upazila of Rangpur and Aminul Islam, 48, of Panisara village in Kahalu upazila of Bogra. A man named Ariful Islam was arrested along with one kg of cannabis from Tinmatha Hajir Mill area of ​​Bogra Sadar at around 6.15 pm that day. Ariful, 29, is a resident of Harigari Nayapara village, Islampur, Bogra Sadar upazila. Another man named Mahmud Ali alias Mamud Ali was arrested along with 15,000 counterfeit money from Sadar's Sabgram Charmatha area around 5pm on Wednesday. Mahmud, 50, is a resident of Baratengra area of ​​Bogra Sadar. This information was confirmed by the in-charge of the district detective police. Saihan Oliullah. The DB police official further said that four persons were arrested on the basis of secret information along with yaba, marijuana and counterfeit money. A case has been registered against them at Bogra Sadar Police Station and they were sent to jail through the court on Thursday.
